Game Features
- Create your band and play exactly as you want - Guitar Hero 5 allows fans to play solely as a full band, or for the first time with any combination of multiple guitarists, bassists, drummers and singers, they may desired. Now it's up to the players whether they want to play the great rock songs with two guitars and two drummers, four guitarists, or perhaps three guitarists and a singer. Any combination is possible, and that goes for all types of games, whether you play online, Party Play, fast game, Rock Fest, or even career games.
- The ultimate rock and roll set list - Enjoy intense finger work, fierce drumming and lyrics that will challenge even the most well-oiled vocal chords when you can test yourself with numbers from some of the hottest bands in addition to classics like Tom Petty, Kings of Leon, The White Stripes, Santana, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. With 85 master tracks, the variety of rock styles, broad enough that any Guitar Hero fan can find some of their favorite songs - and discovering new ones.
- Come and join us! - It has never been easier to rock out with friends than it is with Guitar Hero 5 The all-new Party Play mode throws players directly into it by pressing a button and they can jump in and out of the game or change difficulty level at any time without interrupting the others jam session.
- The moment of truth has arrived! Who is best? - In Guitar Hero 5 players can compare their talents with others in local rock challenges with four players or online play with up to eight players in the new competitive game Rock Fest. When I play Rock Fest, you can choose between different types of challenges such as
- Momentum: The songs are constantly being easier or harder depending on how the player is doing.
- Perfectionist: Honoring the players who perform best in each part of a song.
- Elimination: The players go out during the course of a song depends on how well they are performing in each segment. Whoever is left at the end, wins!
- Do-or-Die: If you play three notes in the wrong part of a song, you will be temporarily excluded and can not earn points.
- Streakers: Players earn points for each number of nodes in portions of 10
- Pro Face Off: Direct duel, in which all players play same song at the same difficulty with the same instrument.
- Endless Rock - Guitar Hero 5 offers hours of entertainment for fans to play Guitar Hero ® World Tour content they download from the web and enjoy themselves with all the upgrades and new features for Guitar Hero 5
- Interaction is the key ... - Bands can earn bonus points by unanimous hitting new special node rows and thus achieve an even greater sense of enthusiasm and of having done something in common.
- Make your own music and share it with others - Guitar Hero 5 features the innovative GHMusic StudioSM and GHTunessm, which was first introduced in Guitar Hero World Tour. Produce your own hits in the new Music Studio with improved and user-friendly editing tools, new guitar sounds and mixing functions, and share them online through GHTunes.
