 | | As the manager of a wildlife park, players can build their own zoo and let their imagination run wild. Lions, tigers, elephants and a variety of other wild animals await the visitors, and thrilling missions will take the virtual wildlife park manager on adventures all over the world. Wildlife Park 3 is a mix of realistic animal simulation, business management and building strategy. This is the latest title in the popular series, which since its first release has received numerous prizes and awards, has been translated into 13 languages and has been sold in over 100 countries.
Campaign mode in Wildlife Park 3 leads players on missions around the world each with an exciting scenario where animals have to be returned to the wild and endangered species rescued. In Freeplay mode, the zoo directors design their own wildlife park using 30 different animated plant species, a selection of visitor facilities and a host of options. Players can choose from over 20 maps of parks worldwide and use the terraforming tool to design and shape the landscape. In so doing, players must also consider the needs of the different realistically animated wild animals; penguins and polar bears like a cool climate, whereas rhinos, giant pandas and gorillas prefer very different conditions. If the animals in your care feel well and happy, the visitors to the zoo may soon also be captivated by their offspring. Random quests provide game variety in Freeplay mode.
Lots of new features make Wildlife Park 3 the most comprehensive game in the series to date. The management component of the game has been expanded and the park facilities and enclosures can now be adapted to suit the requirements. Monorails, trains, hot air balloons and airships offer the visitors to the wildlife park a unique experience. The behaviour and movements of the animal species have been meticulously reproduced and a comprehensive lexicon provides background information on the different animals and plants. The new weather system in Wildlife Park 3 also affects visitors, flora and fauna alike: animals will seek shelter in the rain and bad weather, visitors can buy umbrellas in the zoo shop and dry conditions will wither the plants.
